Overview

Once Floify Verify VOA has been enabled for your company and team, you can request a Verification of Assets report directly from a live loan flow. The borrower connects their financial institution, and the completed report is delivered back into the loan automatically.

Note: This article covers VOA through Floify Verify. Asset verification through AccountChek®, Plaid, or MeridianLink follows a different ordering process and is documented separately.

If VOA is not yet enabled for your team, see Setting Up Floify Verify VOA

Ordering and Generating a Report Manually

In the loan you would like to request a report for, select the Add New Doc option:

Select the option for Floify Verify's Verify Assets (VOA) from the list:

Select the borrower you are requesting verification for. Co-borrowers and co-mortgagors on the loan are also available for selection:

Specify how many transactions should be included in the report:

Review the terms and fee information as needed, then press Order VOA Report:

The order is added to the Miscellaneous category by default. Once ordered, you can track its status in the Docs Owed view of the loan flow:

What the Borrower Sees

The borrower receives a task in the Docs Owed section of their portal prompting them to connect their bank account:

When the borrower selects Verify, an embedded banking experience opens where they search for and select their financial institution, then authorize access to their accounts. Borrowers can connect more than one account.

Note: Checking and savings accounts are supported. Investment accounts are not included in this release.

Once the borrower confirms their connected accounts, the report is generated and delivered to the loan flow automatically, and the task is removed from the borrower's portal.

Reviewing the Completed Report

Completed VOA reports are delivered to the loan flow based on your team's auto-approval setting — either directly into Accepted, or into Docs Pending for your review:

Note: The VOA report is a private document. It is visible to you in the lender portal and is not visible to the borrower.

Day 1 Certainty® and AIM

When a report is generated, Floify automatically writes the report's reference number to the appropriate GSE field in your LOS for Day 1 Certainty® and AIM eligibility. This happens without any additional action from you.

Note: GSE field writing is supported for Encompass and Byte. It is not available for MeridianLink or LendingPad.

Re-verifying Assets

To re-verify assets, a VOA report must already have been successfully generated for that borrower on the loan.

Select Add New Doc > Verify Assets (VOA) and choose the borrower. If a previous VOA report exists, you will be prompted to choose between Re-verify and Create New Verification Request:

Selecting Re-verify displays the accounts the borrower connected on their last report, including the institution name, account type, last four digits of the account number, and the balance from that report:

Floify then attempts to refresh the data instantly, without requiring the borrower to reconnect. Two outcomes are possible:

The connection is still active. A new report is generated and attached to the loan for your review. No borrower action is needed.

The connection is no longer valid. A re-verification task is created in the borrower's portal under Owed, prompting them to reconnect their bank. From there, the flow matches the original verification described above.

Note: If the refresh fails due to a service error rather than a stale connection, you will be notified and can retry the request.

Generating a Verification Invoice

If invoicing has been enabled for your team, you can generate a single invoice covering all Floify Verify reports on a loan — VOI/E, VOE, and VOA — with one consolidated total.

Select Add New Doc > Floify Verify > Verification Invoice:

The generated PDF includes the name of each party on the loan, the invoice date, and for every report its ID, date, type (VOI/E, VOE, or VOA), and price, followed by the total amount.

Note: The invoice is added to the loan as a private document and is not visible to the borrower.

If no Floify Verify reports exist on the loan, the invoice cannot be generated and you will see the message: "Unable to generate invoice: No Floify Verify reports found for this loan."

Note: Invoices can only include verifications completed after VOA was released and enabled for your account. Reports generated before then cannot be added retroactively.

Please note: Running Floify Verify VOA reports incurs a fee. You will only be charged if a report is successfully generated. By enabling this for your company, you agree to Argyle's Customer Terms. Read the terms when you enable this feature.
