Byte License Sync

Overview

The Licenses on the Business Card on your Landing Page can include your NMLS ID and state licenses, which can be synchronized from the Byte LOS. Additionally, the licenses available on the application can be synced up with your Byte LOS licensure as well.

How to Setup 

To set this feature up, please have your company admins work with your Customer Success Manager to begin the process. There are some backend settings needed to connect directly to the Byte API servers

 

Company Dashboard

On the Company Dashboard, navigate to Company Settings > Basic Settings > Edit Basic Settings. Find the section for Licensed States and check the box the Enable Restriction to Licensed StatesPress Save.

 

 

 

 

Turning this setting on restricts licenses listed in the prospect application and the loan flow to states an LO is licensed in. This setting is not required for the profile + landing page license sync.

 

 

Team-Level  Setup

On the team dashboard, navigate to the profile settings for the LO by clicking on the email in the top right corner:

 

 

 

 

Select Edit Profile:

 

 

 

 

Enter in the Byte User ID and press Save Profile:

 

 

 

Next, navigate to Team settings > Integrations > Byte Integration:

 

 

 

 

In the Byte Integration Settings, input the Branch Organization Code and press Save:

 

 

Updating Team Licenses

Once configured, the profile licenses and team licenses should sync automatically on a nightly basis, but you can also manually call for an update before that nightly refresh as well as update any licenses you may have synced.

 

Profile Licenses

Navigate to the profile settings by clicking on the email in the top right corner:

 

 

 

 

Select Edit Licenses:

 

 

 

In this view, you can select the Update from Byte button to have the system sync your profile licenses with the connected Byte account:

 

 

 

 

 

Branch Licenses

In addition to LO licenses, you may wish to display certain Branch level licenses on the profile. These licenses do not impact the application and loan flow list of states, but can be displayed on the Landing Page.

 

To set these, on the team you want to update the licenses for, navigate to Settings:

 

 

 

 

In the settings, navigate to Team Info > Licenses > Edit Licenses:

 

 

 

 

In this view, you can select the Update from Byte button to have the system sync your team licenses with the connected Byte account:

 

 

 

 

Licenses for the Branch/Team will now be up to date!
