Overview
The Byte Conditions Sync feature allows Floify to automatically pull loan conditions from Byte LOS into Floify document requests.
When enabled, Floify retrieves conditions marked as “Requested” from Byte and adds them as document requests in the Borrower Portal. Conditions can appear either automatically or after loan officer approval, depending on your company-level configuration.
When synced, condition names and descriptions appear in the Borrower Portal as new document requests, ensuring a consistent borrower experience across both systems.
Floify checks Byte for new conditions to pull through based on the loan deadline, based on the below cadence:
- For loans with a deadline set 2 months in the past or sooner, Floify will check Byte every 2 minutes.
- For loans with a deadline that has passed longer than 2 month ago, Floify will check Byte every 15 minutes.
We support 3 response methods for a condition request:
Upload a document
Answer a question
Acknowledge receipt
This feature of our Byte integration requires additional setup to connect to the Byte APIs. Please reach out to your Customer Success Manager to get this setup completed.
How to Set Up
Go to Company Settings > Basic Settings > LOS Settings > LOS Conditions Sync > Manage.
Configure Byte conditions for Floify:
Click Save and your teams are set to use Byte Conditions sync!
If ‘Allow LO teams to set their approval preferences’ is selected, the LO can go to Team Settings > Template Docs > Automatic Conditions from Byte to manage them.
The LO will pick which settings they want to configure.
How to Use
The LO or Byte user creates a condition in a Byte loan file synced to a Floify loan file.
Floify receives the conditions. If your account is required to approve conditions requests, the requests are pulled through and placed in the Conditions Pending Review tab of the loan flow
.
LOs review conditions (if ‘Conditions require LO Team approval before appearing in the Borrower Portal’ is configured)
- LOs can review/edit before sending to the borrower
- Floify uses Byte’s description field to determine the document name (this can be edited)
- LO checks Add this to Condition to Docs Owed
- LO clicks Save & Add # Request (Multiple conditions can be added at the same time).
You are now set to send Byte Conditions to Floify!
Note: if automatic conditions are configured, they will automatically be added to the flow as a request.
Borrower receives the condition and responds via Floify portal. (Response type depends on the selected configuration.)
Floify uploads completed documents into the originating condition in Byte.
