Team-Level Automatic Milestone Sync to the LOS

Overview

The Milestone settings allow for you to make various configuration changes to your milestones, milestone templates, deadlines, and reminders.

Among these settings, you'll have access to enable automatic milestone sync to your LOS.

Milestones are the important checkpoints in the life cycle of obtaining a loan. These are incredibly helpful for sending out updates to borrowers and third parties in a matter of seconds. The milestones are completely customizable with HTML. 

Milestone changes apply to future loan flows.

How to Set Up

From your team pipeline, navigate to Settings and select the Milestones tab:

Scroll down to Milestones and select the option to Manage Milestones:

Select the option Enable automatic milestone sync with the LOS:

To link an Floify milestone to an LOS milestone, select the Edit Milestone option:

Select the LOS milestone from the dropdown and choose your borrower and third party notification settings. Please note that whatever is listed in the milestone modal for the particular loan flow will override the notification settings for the team. For example, if third parties are included in the settings, but unchecked in the milestone modal, then Floify will NOT send out notifications to those users.

Note: Milestone synced fields need to be set up at the company level by a company admin. More information can be found here: Milestone LOS Sync.

Make sure you select Save to confirm the changes. Once completed, the automatic milestone sync has been enabled between Floify and LOS.

FAQ

Q: When and How Often Are Milestones Synced?

A: Floify polls the LOS to sync milestones based on the timestamp of the deadline of the underlying loan, at the following frequencies:

• Every 15 minutes:
  • Loans with a deadline:
    • Between today and 8 days from today
• Every 2 hours:
  • Loans with a deadline:
    • Between 2 months before today and today
    • Between 8 days from today and 2 months from today
• Once a day at 01:00 UTC:
  • Loans with a deadline:
    • 2 months before today
    • After 2 months from today
  • Loans with no deadline

Milestone Syncing does not occur between 9PM and 9AM (ET) – milestones checked off during this time period will be synced at the first available instance the next day.

Encompass Milestone Syncing also has an additional webhook that is sent out, which checks off most milestones immediately. If the webhook fails, we rely on the above cadence for checkoff.

Q: What data syncs over from the LOS during milestone check off?

A: When a milestone is checked off, in addition to populating the checkoff date on the Floify milestone, we will also populate the loan address into the corresponding Floify loan address field – if there is not already an address on the Floify loan.  Once the Floify loan has an address saved, subsequent milestone checkoffs from the LOS will not update the address:
