Overview
The Texting settings allow for you to make various configuration changes to the text message templates sent to your borrowers.
Among these settings, you'll have access to edit your needs list text message.
The Needs List Text Message is sent out to a borrower when either their loan application has been converted to a live loan flow, or if you are using the 'Start New Loan Flow' button in your loan pipeline to create the loan flow manually. This email notification gives the borrower insight as to what the next steps are and where they can go from here. This notification is required to be sent to every borrower.
How to Set Up
From your team pipeline, navigate to Settings and select the Texting tab:
Scroll down to Needs List Text Message and select the option to Edit Needs List Text Message:
Adjust the text message body by typing in the text box. Make sure you select Save to confirm the changes:
Note: Text messages are limited to 160 characters. You can go over the character limit but keep in mind this is not recommended as it will split up the message. The character limit is visible next to the name of the notice at the top of the text box.
DO NOT remove the ${SignupLink} merge field. This smart link is required for the borrower to be able to set up a password proceed into the portal successfully.
Success! The new text message template will be sent to your borrowers moving forward.
